Jim Photoglo from Inglewood California had a Billboard Top 25 hit in 1981 off his album with the same name.

After his brief stint as a pop star Photoglo wrote songs for Garth Brooks, The Everly Brothers, Dusty Springfield, Faith Hill, The Oak Ridge Boys and many others.

As of 2016 Jim wrote in his website "I’m suspending my solo touring schedule temporarily as I’ve signed on to play b***, acoustic guitar and sing harmony with my old pals The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary. You can check out their schedule at their website: "

Jim has released other albums since 1981 and is definitely worth a listen. His website is: and you can listen to and order singles and albums on his site.  I really enjoyed My Father's Son in his Halls Of My Heart album.
