Meco Domenico Monardo was born in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania November 29, 1939 and loved building model ships and loved science fiction.  A studio musician, he played trombone for Tommy JamesDiana Ross.  He turned to the dark side of disco in 1974 when he helped produce Gloria Gaynor's  hit Never Can Say Goodbye.
