Woodsy The Owl is a "spokesperson" for the United States Forest Service famous for saying "Give a hoot, don't pollute", lend and hand, care for the land, and "don't be a dirty bird" The first advertisement was created by U.S. Forest Ranger Chuck Williams. Williams was also a technical consultant to the L***ie TV show. Several actors have been the voice of Woodsy like Barry Gordon,Sterling Holloway , Dave Kimber, and Frank Welker.
