Farrah Fawcett Shampoo was introduced by Fabrege Inc. from the late
70’s through the mid 80’s. This commercial was from 1978. The shampoo
was part of an entire line of Farah Fawcett hair care products.
The back of the Farah Fawcett Shampoo bottle said:
“I
guess my hair is my signature. That’s why I developed this special
shampoo with Fabrege to keep hair looking fresh and wholesome all the
time. There are B vitamins, Minerals (calcium, copper, zinc) natural to
all hair. Keratin, hair’s own protein. Plus garden herbs. It’s like an
energy bath for hair. With gentle cleansers that help hair maintain its
vitality even if you shampoo every day. My hair really looks softer,
shinier and livelier. If you want your hair to be your signature too,
try it. And try my Creme Rinse/Conditioner to make hair behave right
away. It’s so simple”. It was then signed Farrah Fawcett

Ball Buster Game
I just don’t know how this game didn’t become a classic! LOL. Players move around groups of playing pieces set up similarly to checkers. Each piece consists of a plastic ball mounted on a long springy stem which is mounted on a peg which fits into holes in the board. Players can attack an opponents piece by pulling back on one of their own adjacent pieces and releasing it, causing the plastic balls to collide.

Levis Laughing Song
The 1972 Levi commercial Good Morning World or Laughing Levi’s commercial jingles is one of those songs that will get stuck in your head for sure! The jingle is based on The Fendermen’s 1960 hit Mule Skinner Blues which can be heard here:
The Levi commercial, with some yodeling goes:
“Good morning world, I’m ready for you, ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh, wearing my Levi’s, Le-he-he-he-he-vi’s. Le-he-he-he-vi’s, Haw-Haw, Le-he-he-he-he-vi’s “
The stop action video shows a young teen boy in a variety of colored jeans and shirts from Levi’s, from traditional blue to brown and red. The quality of the video, the best that is available online has been color corrected from the faded film stock.
There isn’t much information on the jingle or the commercial itself. One source says the jingle and commercial was produced by Mike Koelker from the Mad Man advertising team of Foote, Cone & Belding of San Francisco.
